Happy Half Birthday!

Yes, I am that corny mom that celebrated her son's half birthday. Why not?!?! Any excuse for a party and a cake!! Ramsay turned 18 months old on April 27th so I had a little celebration at the house that evening. We had hot dogs, hamburgers, and a half birthday cake. Larry joined us as well as my mom, his parents, his sister, and his two grandmas. It was a fun evening!

Easter 2012

We had a great Easter weekend! Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at Westside Park which was fun. Spent the rest of the afternoon at home then went to Easter service at church that evening. Great day! Sunday Ramsay and I headed to Danville to have lunch with Larry's side of the family and then went to a park to run around and play. It was a busy weekend but Ramsay had a lot of fun!

Busy, busy, busy

I can't believe it's Sunday afternoon already. Where did the weekend go? Our weekends are so busy that they just fly by! This last Tuesday was Ramsay's last swim lesson. He's a little fish and loves the water! Nanny has been doing swim lessons with him and they had a great time together. Yesterday Ramsay started gymnastics at the YMCA. He did a great job but cried when we left. He was having way to much fun playing that he didn't want to leave. He has such a rough life! My friend Sarah turned 40 yesterday and I helped plan a little birthday bash for her at Village Inn. We had a great time and she even got sung to by 3 different Rugby teams that were there. They sang "You Lost That Love and Feeling" to her. It was priceless! The guys were great sports about it and even though we asked them to just sing happy birthday to her, what they did was way better! Today Ramsay and I were blessed to take Grandma PP, Nanny, our friend Katie and her mom Kathy to church with us. It was kind of nice having almost an entire row of our family and friends. Ramsay and I really enjoy the church we've been attending and look forward to many more Sundays. It's been such a great experience for the two of us. After church Grandma PP, Nanny, Ramsay and I headed to Monticello to Ramsay's 18 month photo shoot. I can't believe he's 18 months old already. I'm anxious to see the pictures as I'm sure she got a lot of great ones. It was a bit chilly outside and the wind was blowing, but RAmsay was a trooper and did great. I love that lil man so much!

Easter Bunny - 2012

Larry and I took Ramsay to see the Easter Bunny yesterday at the mall. To my surprise, Ramsay wasn't a bit scared and actually wanted to go back to the Easter Bunny after Larry took him off his lap. He did a great job and I was so proud of him!
